Movies are great tools for teaching young children emotional literacy skills. Through stories, characters show what feelings look like and model how to react to emotions.
I have put together a list of 50 questions that you can use to guide you in the conversation with your child after they have watched the movie “Inside out”. You do not have to ask all of the questions on this list. Just choose those that speak to you and those that resonated.
I listed questions by age groups, as well as by topics that were largely covered in the movie (big life transitions in kids’ life, personalities and life values). Chose whichever is important and relevant for your family at the moment.
